 In 2018, Coach Coleman and his team launched an innovative initiative known as the “Cyber Basketball Camp,” also referred to as “distance basketball education.” This approach allows players to engage in basketball training remotely, leveraging technology to learn without needing to be physically present in the same gym as Coach Coleman. Participants utilize the internet to access course materials and interact with both their coach and fellow students, enabling them to train from virtually anywhere in the world.

When the pandemic struck in 2020, Coach Coleman and his team were already ahead of the curve, having established a robust framework for online training. 

Here are some key aspects of cyber basketball training:

**Physical Separation:**  

A defining characteristic of this initiative is the geographical distance between Coach Coleman and the students, allowing for participation from multiple locations.

**Technology-Based Delivery:**  

All learning materials, lectures, assignments, and interactions are facilitated through online platforms, video conferencing, and various digital tools. Coach Coleman’s team frequently ships resources to countries and organizations worldwide, ensuring accessibility.

**Flexibility:**  

Given that players may be situated in different time zones, it’s crucial for on-the-ground coaches to offer flexible support and assistance with training schedules.
